All Devouring Hell Demon
Submission for the Trijam #210, theme is distractions! Made in Godot 4.0
Movement when distracted: WASD
Concept: The player is escaping from the All Devouring Hell Demon (ADHD for short) and is during the escape confronted with many tempting distractions that are too good to pass. Time is ticking and the demon draws nearer while the player is running off chasing fairies! Game is largely unfinished but managed to get 2 small tasks done. I wanted to add more and not just copy paste, was hoping for 5-6 total.
The player should win the game if all the tasks are done within a certain total time. Game will be over if the player was too slow at stopping their demon escape procrastination and becomes demon food.
A neat idea (in my head, haha) that turned into costing way too many hours. Lots of learning and running into technical problems getting the basics to work. I consider this a prototype or a concept more than a game right now. But plenty of practice after a long break of not making games.
